This park is a little farther from Leander, but on occasions for a change of pace it has been worth the drive for all its many positive features!
What's it got? Shaded play area, pool with great tot area (fee), small climbing wall, walking trail, big field, sand volleyball, covered pavilion with tables.
Pros: The 2 pros that stand out are a shaded play scape and a pool with a fun area for young children. In the summertime, this is the park to try! The shade is not always directly on the play structure, but it is close by making this park feel a little cooler. Check out the pool schedule for special tot time in the mornings as well.
Cons: Besides distance, I don't hate anything about this park. Sure, it isn't perfect, but if it was closer to me I'd go to it A LOT!
